UV DOAS Gas Analyzer

Model MGL Series

MGL Series UV DOAS flue gas analyzer measuring SO2, NO, NO2, O2, NH3, CO, CO2 and more, unaffected by moisture and dust, with no optical moving parts.

Overview

About the UV DOAS Gas Analyzer MGL Series.

MGL Series UV DOAS is a flue online monitoring gas analyzer based on the UV DOAS principle. It can measure SO2, NO, NO2, O2, NH3, CO, CO2, Cl2, O3, H2S, HCl and CH2I, with high accuracy and reliability, low operating costs, fast response time, and a wide measurement range and field of application.

The platform consists of light sources, a gas chamber, and optical and spectroscopic components. Ultraviolet light is sent by the light source through the optical window into the gas chamber and absorbed by the sample gas. The light carrying the sample absorption information is coupled through a lens into an optical fiber and transmitted to the spectrometer. After light splitting and photovoltaic conversion, the absorption spectrum is obtained and analyzed to calculate the concentration of each component in the gas.

Features

  • Minimum detection limit of SO2, NO and NO2 can be 1 mg/m³
  • Ultraviolet has no moisture absorption, undisturbed by moisture and dust
  • No cross interference between the gases being measured
  • Low detection limit
  • NO and NO2 measured at the same time, no converter needed
  • No optical moving parts
