Smoke Density Meter SDM V9

The SDM V9 smoke density meter continuously monitors smoke emission from all kinds of combustion and the soot contamination of inert gas. A sender mounted on one side of the chimney projects a light beam to a receiver on the other side, and the controller calculates opacity from the transmitted and forward-scattered light. Automatic self-alignment keeps the beam in the optimum position and prevents incorrect readings, while automatic zero and reference point checks and contamination monitoring keep the measurement reliable. Readings are recorded continuously in percent, and the controller calculates smoke limit exceedances on a daily and hourly basis.
