About this range
Remote Monitoring System
Remote monitoring systems collect readings from instruments at plants and unmanned sites and send them to a central server, so operators and managers can see what is happening without a site visit. A remote monitoring unit (RMU) reads signals from flow meters, analyzers and other field instruments, stores the data and transmits it. Utilities, environmental teams and plants with emission reporting duties use remote monitoring to keep data flowing. LKS (M) Sdn. Bhd. supplies and installs remote monitoring systems in Malaysia.
Our range
- Remote monitoring system: RMUs that accept 4–20 mA sensor signals and send them to a central server.
What the system provides:
- RMU versions for SMS, GPRS/Edge/3G and Wi-Fi communication, so each site can use the connection available.
- 4–20 mA, 12-bit inputs, with an isolated model available.
- A GSM modem included in the unit; the SIM card is supplied by the user.
- A 2.8-inch touch display on each RMU showing 24-hour measured values as a graph, cycling through the channels.
- A DOE query manager for emission data requests.

How to choose
- List the signals to be transmitted and the number of channels per site.
- Check the connectivity at each location: mobile network or Wi-Fi.
- Decide how often data must be sent and who needs access to it.
- Choose an isolated input model where signal isolation is required.
