CEMS Accessories

CEMS accessories condition the sample gas between the stack and the analyzer, so that readings stay representative and analyzers are protected from dust, condensate and corrosive components. The range covers heated gas sampling probes that keep the sample above its dew point, sample gas coolers that remove water vapour, and the pumps, flow meters, filters and condensate monitors that complete an extractive CEMS sample line.

Heated gas sampling probes (PSG Basic, PSG Plus, PSG Plus DSBP)

• Corrosion-resistant SS316Ti stainless steel, controlled or self-regulated heating to 180 °C with no cold spots
• Tool-free filter change, test gas connection as standard and temperature alarm contact
• Protective housing for outdoor installation; 8-hole flange for variable mounting (PSG Plus, PSG Plus DSBP)
• PSG Plus: optional double stage back purge with 12 mm OD tubing, for dust loads up to 3 g/m³; optional surface-coated ceramic filter with 0.3 µm porosity
• PSG Plus DSBP: dual stage back purge with 10 mm passage and membrane-coated 0.3 µm ceramic filter

Sample gas compressor coolers

• Versions with 1, 1–2, 1–4 and 1–8 gas paths
• Cooling with CFC-free refrigerant R134a and a hot-gas bypass that runs without switching the compressor
• Exchangeable PTFE/PVDF, stainless steel or glass heat exchangers
• Digital temperature display with potential-free alarm contact; integrated condensate pumps on several versions
• ATEX version for zones 1 and 2, II 2G Ex pxb de [ia] IIC T4 Gb, with analogue temperature indication
• Portable or wall-mounted housing with integrated filter, flow meter, liquid sensor and sample pump

Compact gas conditioning and Peltier coolers

• Compact conditioning units with 1–4 gas paths; Peltier cooler with two Peltier elements and 1–2 gas paths
• Electronic dew point control; logbook, operating hours counter and service interval display
• Twister version minimises wash-out of water-soluble gas components

Other sample line components

• Condensate guard (1–2 gas paths; 24 V DC, 115 V AC or 230 V AC) and conductivity moisture sensor
• PTFE-membrane and PVDF-head diaphragm pumps, vibrating armature pump and peristaltic pump
• Flowmeter with needle valve, glass preseparator for inlet temperatures up to 160 °C, Teflon depth filter to 0.1 µm
