TDLAS Gas Analyzer

The MGL series TDLAS gas analyser uses tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy for industrial on-line analysis and environmental on-line monitoring. It relies on the narrow line width of a tunable laser, whose wavelength changes with drive current, to scan the absorption 'fingerprint' of the target molecule, which removes cross-interference from background gases. A White cell folds the optical path up to 30 m, giving a low detection limit, and the reflected light range can be adjusted so the analyser covers concentrations from constant levels down to trace. It is housed in a 19-inch 4U panel or a 20-inch wall-mount panel.

How it works
