CEMS for Rice Mills

This continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) for rice mills measures total particulate matter (PM) and opacity in the exhaust from the mill stack. The system is assembled from extractive analysers, in-situ analysers and a particulate in-situ analyser, using light scatter, beta absorption, transmissometry or triboelectric measurement depending on the sampling type. Readings are collected by a data acquisition system (DAS) and sent through a data interface system (DIS), allowing the mill to show continuous compliance with the emission limit values for total PM and opacity.

How it works
