CEMS for Palm Oil Mills

This continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) for palm oil mills measures stack emissions so that mills can report against the emission limits for their sector. For palm oil mills of all sizes the limit values are 50 mg/m³ for total particulate matter (PM) and 20% for opacity. The system can combine extractive gas analyzers, in-situ gas analyzers and particulate in-situ analyzers on the stack, with signals carried on 4–20 mA lines to a data acquisition PC and transmitted over TCP/IP to the DOE/EPA server.
