Single Parameter Gas Analyzer

Laser Extractive Gas Analyzer

Model GLE

GLE flameproof bypass-type tunable laser gas analyser for industrial on-line analysis and emission monitoring where in-situ analysers cannot be used: high temperature, humidity, dust or pressure and small pipes. Ex d IIC T6 Gb, IP66.

Overview

About the Laser Extractive Gas Analyzer GLE.

The GLE laser extractive gas analyser is a flameproof, bypass-type tunable laser analyser for industrial on-line analysis and environmental on-line monitoring. It suits harsh conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, high dust and high pressure, and small pipes where an in-situ analyser is not applicable. A jet pump extracts the sample gas, which is filtered to remove dust, heated to avoid condensation and, for hot processes, cooled before it reaches the analysis module. Single-line spectrum technology keeps the measurement free from background gas interference, while automatic calibration, back-flushing and auto purge reduce maintenance.

Features

  • Bypass (extractive) installation for conditions unsuitable for in-situ measurement
  • Single-line spectrum technology, free from background gas interference
  • Automatic calibration and back-blow
  • Auto purge function to cut maintenance cost
  • Integrated structure with transmitter and receiver on one back board
  • Hall-effect buttons for easy operation
  • Flameproof Ex d IIC T6 Gb, enclosure IP66
  • Analogue inputs for temperature and pressure compensation

How it works

  • A jet pump draws the sample gas through the gas path
  • The gas is filtered, heated and, at high process temperatures, cooled
  • The laser analysis module measures the conditioned gas
  • Closing the ball valve allows a calibration; opening the back-flush valve keeps the gas path clear
  • Configuration varies by duty: for high pressure a relief valve is added and the air pump removed; for high temperature the heat tracing runs hotter

Applications

  • Industrial on-line process gas analysis
  • Environmental on-line emission monitoring
  • High-dust, high-humidity or high-temperature gas streams
  • Small pipes unsuitable for in-situ analysers
  • Hazardous areas requiring flameproof equipment
