Overview

About the WAZN2001 Zinc Water Analyzer.

The WAZN2001 zinc water analyser is an online instrument dedicated to monitoring zinc in water samples. It uses spectrophotometry with zincon as the colorimetric reagent: in an alkaline state, zinc ions in the sample react with zincon to form a stable blue complex. A UV-VIS spectrophotometer measures the colour, and the intensity of the blue complex is proportional to the zinc concentration in the water. The analyser is used in sewage and wastewater treatment, industrial water production and process monitoring in industrial facilities.

Features

  • Zincon spectrophotometry with a stable blue zinc complex
  • Photoelectric measurement with accurate sampling and low sample injection error
  • Automatic chromaticity and turbidity compensation for real water samples
  • Hybrid mixing or bubble agitation for thorough mixing of sample and reagent
  • Flow path designed to prevent blocking; wetted parts tested for long service life
  • Reagent leak alarm and maintenance reminders
  • Self-diagnosis with on-screen alarms
  • One reagent set covers 250 measurements
