Overview

About the WACN2001 Cyanide Water Analyzer.

The WACN2001 cyanide water analyser is an online monitoring instrument that gives continuous, reliable cyanide readings for water and wastewater. Under weak acid conditions, cyanide in the water sample reacts with chloramine T, and the product then reacts with isonicotinic acid to form a purple-blue compound. The colour intensity of this compound is proportional to the cyanide concentration and is measured photoelectrically. Automatic chromaticity and turbidity compensation corrects for the colour and cloudiness of real samples, while bubble agitation mixes sample and reagents thoroughly. Self-diagnosis and reagent leak alarms support long-term online monitoring.

Features

  • Photoelectric measurement with accurate sampling and low sample injection error
