About the WACR2001 Hexavalent Chromium Water Analyzer.
The WACR2001 hexavalent chromium water analyzer is an online instrument dedicated to monitoring chromium(VI) in water. It uses the diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometric method: in an acid medium, diphenylcarbazide reacts with chromium(VI) ions to form an intense pink-violet dye with an absorption maximum at 540 nm. A UV-VIS spectrophotometer measures the absorbance, and comparison with a calibration curve gives the hexavalent chromium concentration of the sample. The analyzer is designed for long-term online monitoring in sewage and wastewater treatment, industrial process water and industrial process monitoring.

How it works
