About the WAMN2001 Manganese Water Analyzer.
The WAMN2001 manganese water analyzer is an online instrument dedicated to monitoring manganese in water samples. It uses spectrophotometry with formaldoxime colorimetric reagent: manganese ions in the sample react with formaldoxime to form coloured complexes, and a UV-VIS spectrophotometer measures the colour, whose intensity is proportional to the manganese concentration. The spectral properties of formaldoxime and its manganese complexes make it well suited to detecting manganese in aqueous solutions. The method is intended for water that is not heavily polluted (0 … 6 mg/l), such as surface water, drinking water and industrial process water.
