About the WATN2001 Total Nitrogen Analyzer.
The WATN2001 total nitrogen analyzer measures total nitrogen in water online using alkaline potassium persulfate digestion followed by UV spectrophotometry. Above 60 °C, potassium persulfate decomposes completely into potassium bisulfate and oxygen. A further reaction at 120 °C oxidises or decomposes the nitrogen compounds and organic matter in the sample, after which its absorbance is measured by UV spectrophotometry and the total nitrogen content is calculated. The analyzer is built for long-term online monitoring in sewage and wastewater treatment, drinking water, industrial process water and industrial process monitoring.
