Humidity Analyzer H-100
Model H-100
H-100 humidity analyzer (hygronom) for in-line flue gas moisture measurement in CEMS, using a heated probe with a capacitive humidity sensor and PT100, measuring 0–40% vol H2O with ±2% accuracy and T90 under 6 s.
Overview
About the Humidity Analyzer H-100.
The H-100 humidity analyzer, also known as a hygronom or dew point analyzer, measures the humidity of flue gas in pollutant emission monitoring so that wet gas concentrations can be converted to dry gas concentrations. It is also used for industrial online moisture monitoring. A probe rod is installed directly in the chimney, with a built-in high-precision capacitive digital temperature and humidity sensor in contact with the flue gas. When the gas reaches the measuring chip its capacitance changes, giving the moisture value. The probe is heated to stop condensation affecting the measurement.
Features
- In-line measurement in the stack for more accurate readings
- Measuring range 0 … 40% vol H2O with ±2% accuracy and ±1% repeatability
- Fast response: T90 under 6 s
- Heated probe protects the humidity capacitor and thermal resistor from flue condensate
- Probe rated 0 … 180 °C
- Compact structure with flange installation, easy to remove and wash
- Direct on-site button operation
- Two 4–20 mA outputs (temperature and humidity) and standard RS232
How it works
- Probe rod type, installed independently on the chimney by flange
- Capacitive humidity sensor and PT100 platinum resistor temperature sensor at the probe tip
- Flue gas contact changes the chip capacitance, which is converted into the moisture reading
- Probe heating prevents condensation
Applications
- Flue gas humidity in coal- and oil-fired boiler emissions (CEMS)
- Food processing
- Timber, building materials and paper making
- Chemical industry and fibre processing
- High-temperature humidity in open-width dyeing in the printing and dyeing industry
