Laser Dust & Opacity Analyzer (Single Pass) D10.3LS

Model D10.3LS

Single pass laser dust and opacity analyzer (D10.3LS) combining transmittance and forward scattered light for very low to high dust concentrations, with automatic self-alignment, zero and reference checks, 4–20 mA and RS485 Modbus outputs.

Overview

About the Laser Dust & Opacity Analyzer (Single Pass) D10.3LS.

The D10.3LS laser dust and opacity analyzer is a type-approved single pass measuring device that combines the transmittance and forward scattered light principles, making it suitable for very low to high dust concentrations. A laser sender on one side of the stack projects the measuring beam to a receiver on the opposite side. Automatic self-alignment optimises the position of the beam and prevents incorrect measurement, while automatic checks of the zero and reference points and contamination monitoring keep readings reliable. The controller displays opacity in percent obscuration and dust in mg/m³.

Features

  • Combined transmittance and forward scattered light measurement
  • For very low to high dust concentrations and medium to large dust particle diameters
  • Automatic check of zero and reference point
  • Contamination monitoring and compensation on both sides
  • Automatic self-alignment of the measuring beam
  • CE mark by TÜV (certificate no. AE50247427 0001)
  • Controller with 2 × 4–20 mA outputs, RS485 Modbus and SPDT alarm relay
  • Weatherproof IP65 aluminium alloy sensor body rated for stack temperatures to 1200 °C

Benefits

  • Suitable for highly fluctuating dust concentrations
  • Reliable operation through redundant measurement
  • Low maintenance thanks to the self-monitoring function
  • Ready for decreasing emission limit values

Options

  • Multipurpose bracket (S-LK-SDM-SB-1)
  • Blower kit for air purge (D10.AB)
  • Compressed air kit with pressure regulator, in-line filters and purge adapters (D10.AC)

Applications

  • Solid fuel and gas-fired boilers
  • Generator emissions
  • Diesel vehicle emissions
  • Waste incinerators
  • Prilling towers
  • Tunnel visibility monitoring
