Submersible Level Transmitter

Submersible Level Transmitter LTE100

Model LTE100

Submersible level transmitter LTE100 with a CVD sensing element and all-welded stainless steel back end, 4–20 mA output with LCD display, 0.2% FS typical accuracy, gauge or absolute versions and ranges and cable lengths specified in metres.

Overview

About the Submersible Level Transmitter LTE100.

The LTE100 submersible level transmitter is a pressure-based level sensor that is lowered into the liquid to measure its level. It uses a proven CVD sensing element and an ASIC in amplified units, packaged with an all-welded stainless steel back end for demanding submersible and industrial applications. The transmitter gives a 4–20 mA current output with an LCD display, and the level range and cable length are ordered in metres, for example 0–10 m with a 15 m cable. Gauge, absolute and vacuum models are available, in submersible, general purpose and wash-down enclosures.

Features

  • High stability achieved by a CVD sensing element
  • Accuracy 0.2% FS typical (optional 0.15% FS), long-term drift 0.2% FS/year
  • 4–20 mA current output with LCD display
  • Gauge, absolute and vacuum models; absolute ranges up to 25 bar (300 psi)
  • All-welded stainless steel back end, 17-4 PH stainless steel wetted parts and SS316 sensor
  • Vented, shielded 24 AWG polyurethane cable
  • Designed for more than 100 million full-scale cycles
  • Approvals: CE, UR; Ex model available as an option

How it works

  • The sensor is submerged and measures the pressure of the liquid above it
  • The CVD sensing element and ASIC convert the pressure into a 4–20 mA signal
  • The signal is shown on the LCD display

Applications

  • Level measurement in tanks and vessels
  • Submersible and industrial level applications
  • Wash-down environments

Options

  • Pressure datum: gauge (G) or absolute (A)
  • Level range in metres, e.g. R10 for 0–10 m
  • Cable length in metres, e.g. C15 for 15 m
  • Intrinsically safe version with amplified output (ETL entity approved for Class 1, Division 1, Groups C and D)
