Tube Cleaning Flexible Shaft

The tube cleaning flexible shaft transmits rotation from the motor unit to the tool head, a cutter or brush, working inside the tube. One end of the shaft has a machine end socket that attaches to a suitable motor, and the other end attaches to the cleaning tool. LKS offers two types: nylon shafts with a stainless steel inner core for smaller tubes, and LKS series steel shafts with a galvanised steel outer casing. Each shaft is ordered for a specific tube or pipe size range and for the length of the longest tube to be cleaned.

• Shaft stopper, internally lubricated inserts and aluminium cap (nylon shaft)

Nylon shaft (LNFSC series)

• LNFSC-701: tube ID 6.4–9.5 mm (1/4–3/8"), 3.7 or 7.6 m long, tool end thread 8-32F
• LNFSC-702: tube ID 11.1–12.7 mm (7/16–1/2"), 3.7 to 13.7 m long, 1/4-28F
• LNFSC-703: tube ID 14.3–25.4 mm (9/16–1"), 3.7 to 22.9 m long, 1/4-28F
• LNFSC-704: tube ID 16–22 mm (5/8–7/8"), 4.0 to 23.2 m long, 1/4-28F
• LNFSC-705: tube ID 22–35 mm (7/8–1 3/8"), 4.9 to 15.5 m long, 1/2-12F

Steel shaft (LKS series, LBFS)

• LBFS-105: inner core 12–13 mm (1/2"), outer casing 24.0 mm
• LBFS-106: inner core 15–16 mm (5/8"), outer casing 29.0 mm
• LBFS-107: inner core 19.0 mm (3/4"), outer casing 33.0 mm
• LBFS-108: inner core 20.0 mm, outer casing 34.0 mm
• Lengths from 6.0 m (20 ft) to 30.0 m (100 ft); spare inner core and outer casing per metre (LBIC, LBOC) and spare hand pieces (LBHP)

• Mechanical cleaning of tubes and pipes with a rotating cutter or brush
