About the SPD Leakage Current Tester LP-TEST108B.

The LP-TEST108B is a portable tester for the components inside surge protection devices. It measures the leakage current of metal oxide varistors (MOV) and the break-over and breakdown voltage of MOVs, gas discharge tubes (GDT), TVS diodes and similar parts, so maintenance teams can check whether a surge protector is still fit for service. Testing is automatic and started with one key, and results appear on a large-font LCD. The tester runs on four AA batteries or an external supply and is small enough to carry.
