Photovoltaic DC Surge Protective Device LP-PV

The LP-PV series photovoltaic DC surge protective device protects solar photovoltaic power generation systems and other DC power systems against overvoltage arising from lightning. Installed in PV combiner boxes and PV power supply boxes, it limits lightning overvoltage on the DC lines to a defined protection level. The device uses a plug-in module on a separate base, with built-in temperature control and circuit-breaking technology, and a status window that shows green when normal and red when the module has failed. It is designed to work normally at high altitude.

• Three voltage ratings: 800 V, 1000 V and 1200 V maximum continuous operating voltage
• Nominal discharge current 20 kA and maximum discharge current 40 kA (8/20 µs)
• Plug-in module with separate base for quick replacement
• Built-in temperature control and circuit-breaking (disconnection) technology
• Visual indication: green for normal, red for broken
• Flame-retardant reinforced nylon housing (UL94 V-0)
• Clearance and creepage distance greater than 25 mm
• Works normally at high altitude
