LP-COM/A Surge Protector for AC/DC Power Supplies

The LP-COM/A series are surge protective devices for AC/DC power supply lines. Fitted at the front end of power supply equipment such as computer systems, modems and signal control circuits, they protect against overvoltage arising from lightning strikes or mis-operation. Six models cover rated working voltages from 5 V to 230 V. Each unit has a large flow capacity with low residual voltage and no leakage current to ground, and built-in double lightning protection technology. It connects in series or in parallel, so one design suits a wide range of power systems.

How it works

• Series connection: for power systems with a rated load current not above 10 A
• Parallel connection: wired across the line with a PE connection
