About the F-Connector Video Signal Surge Protector LP-C/TV.
The LP-C/TV is a DIN-rail lightning and surge protector for video signal lines that use F-type (F head) connectors. It is installed in series with the signal line and diverts surges from lightning to earth through a gas discharge tube (GDT), as shown in its wiring diagram, while passing the video signal with low insertion loss. The unit mounts on a standard 35 mm rail, has a built-in grounding terminal for reliable earthing and is housed in flame-retardant reinforced nylon.
