About this range
Level Indicator
Level indicators give a clear, local reading of liquid level in tanks, reservoirs and open water, usually by mechanical means that need no power supply. A float follows the liquid surface and drives a pointer across a gauge board or dial, while stage gauges provide a fixed visual scale at the water's edge. Water utilities, plant operators and facility managers use them for storage, suction and fuel tanks and for surface water monitoring. LKS supplies level indicators in Malaysia, made to the user's tank height and scale.
Our range
- Liquid Level Indicator: float-and-cable design with a ruler-type gauge board on the tank wall, black numerals on white in metres or feet, cast aluminium sheave elbows and hot-dipped galvanised material for outdoor use.
- Mechanical Dial Level Indicator: float, rope and counterweight drive a large dial from 300 to 1500 mm, with 1% FS accuracy, ranges up to 0 … 30 m and galvanised or epoxy-coated housing.
- Stage/Staff Gauge: a ruler-style visual reference for surface water level, available in aluminium, FRP, galvanised steel, SS304, SS316 or acrylic with custom scales, sizes and colours.

How to choose
- Tank or open water: gauge boards and dials suit tanks; stage gauges suit rivers, channels and reservoirs.
- Reading distance: a large dial is easier to read from ground level or across a site.
- Range and units: specify tank height and whether the scale should read in metres or feet.
- Environment: select galvanised, epoxy-coated or stainless material for outdoor and wet locations.
