WSPH3001 Antimony pH Sensor

The WSPH3001 antimony pH sensor measures pH in water containing hydrofluoric acid and in other media that are corrosive to glass electrodes. Instead of a glass membrane it uses an antimony sensing surface, which is sturdy and corrosion resistant. The sensor detects the concentration of H+ ions in the water and converts the electrochemical signal into a voltage, which a pH meter converts into a pH reading. A solid dielectric with a large-area PTFE liquid junction resists blocking, and a long reference diffusion path extends electrode life in harsh conditions. There is no electrolyte to refill, keeping maintenance low.

Usage notes

• Not suitable where the water contains antimony or substances that react with antimony to form complex ions
• Keep the antimony surface clean; polish it with fine sandpaper if necessary
