About this range

Mechanical Level Indicator

A mechanical level indicator shows the water level in a reservoir or tank on a large dial, using a float, string and counterweight instead of electronics. Because it needs no power or signal cabling, it gives operators a reading they can trust during outages and at remote sites. Water supply authorities, pump station operators and plant maintenance teams use mechanical level indicators on service reservoirs and suction tanks. LKS supplies them in Malaysia, built to the customer's range and dial size.

Our range

  • Mechanical Level Indicator R3: a round-dial indicator in sizes from 300 mm to 1500 mm (12" to 60"), with 1% of full scale accuracy and ±0.5% of full scale zero stability and repeatability. Level ranges run from 0–3 m up to 0–30 m, or in feet, and the mild steel case is finished in hot-dipped galvanising or epoxy coating.

Applications

  • Water supply service reservoirs
  • Pump suction tanks
  • Water storage tanks
  • Treatment plant storage tanks
  • Remote sites without power for electronic gauges

How to choose

  • Measure the full level range of the tank and choose a 0–3 m to 0–30 m scale, or specify feet.
  • Pick the dial size by viewing distance: larger dials can be read from further away.
  • Select the case finish for the site: galvanised or epoxy-coated mild steel.

The LKS team can supply, install and recalibrate mechanical level indicators across Malaysia. Contact us with your reservoir height and preferred dial size for a quotation.
