About this range
Level Transmitter
A level transmitter measures the level in a tank, vessel, sump or channel continuously and sends it as an electrical signal, typically 4–20 mA or digital, to a controller, recorder or SCADA system. That signal drives pumps, valves and alarms and gives operators an accurate inventory. Level transmitters are used in water treatment, process plants and storage facilities wherever a reading must reach the control room. LKS (M) Sdn. Bhd. supplies level transmitters in Malaysia and helps integrate them with existing control systems.
Our range
- Radar level transmitter: a non-contact microwave pulse instrument for liquids, sizing agents and granules in metal or non-metallic vessels and tubes; its low-energy pulse is harmless to people.
- 2-wire ultrasonic level transmitter UT1000-3: non-contact measurement up to 15 m with 0.3% accuracy, an LCD display, 4–20 mA and RS485 Modbus output.
- Piezo level transmitter LT-100: hydrostatic measurement with a CVD sensing element, in submersible, junction box, pole and capillary versions with 4–20 mA and HART.
- Compact pressure transmitter PT: a stainless steel piezoresistive transmitter that can infer level from hydrostatic pressure in tanks and pump systems.

How to choose
- Consider the medium and whether contact with it is acceptable; radar and ultrasonic avoid contact.
- Allow for foam, vapour and vessel internals, which affect non-contact signals.
- Check temperature, pressure and the measuring range.
- Match the output to your system: 4–20 mA, HART or Modbus.
