About this range

Chlorine

Chlorine monitoring instruments measure residual chlorine in water continuously, confirming that disinfection is working and that dosing stays within the intended band. Too little chlorine leaves water unprotected; too much wastes chemical and can harm equipment or users. Water treatment plants, swimming pool operators and power plant cooling and boiler feed systems use online chlorine meters to keep dosing under control. LKS supplies TGI German Technologies chlorine sensors and meters in Malaysia.

Our range

  • WMCL1001 chlorine meter: an online residual chlorine controller in a 96 × 96 mm panel case that reads free chlorine from 0 to 20 mg/L at 0.01 mg/L resolution together with temperature. It applies automatic temperature compensation from 0 to 50 °C, holds a stability of ±0.01 mg/L per 24 hours, and provides a 4–20 mA output, high and low alarm relays and optional RS485.
  • WSCL1001 chlorine sensor: a three-electrode residual chlorine sensor with platinum electrodes in a glass body, which maintains a stable electric potential for continuous measurement of 0 to 20 mg/l chlorine at 0.01 mg/l resolution, plus temperature.

Used together, the sensor and meter form a complete online residual chlorine measuring point.

Applications

  • Drinking water treatment and distribution
  • Pure water systems
  • Swimming pools
  • Disinfection processes
  • Power plant water systems

How to choose

  • Check the expected chlorine range; both units cover 0 to 20 mg/L.
  • Decide whether you need alarm relays at the panel or a 4–20 mA or RS485 signal to a PLC.
  • Allow for temperature variation, which the meter compensates automatically.

LKS installs, calibrates and maintains residual chlorine measurement points throughout Malaysia. Contact our water quality engineers for help choosing a sensor and meter, or for a quotation.
