About this range
Ultrasonic Level Transmitter
An ultrasonic level transmitter sends sound pulses down to a liquid surface and times the returning echo to calculate level, so the sensor never touches the medium. That makes ultrasonic level transmitters a practical choice for water, wastewater and liquids that would foul or corrode a contact probe. Treatment plant operators, utility managers and process engineers use them on tanks, sumps and open basins. LKS (M) Sdn. Bhd. supplies and installs ultrasonic level transmitters across Malaysia.

Our range
- Ultrasonic transmitter UT1000-3 (2 wire): a two-wire, loop-powered transmitter for non-contact level measurement.
Main characteristics:
- Measuring range up to 15 m, depending on the range selected.
- Accuracy of 0.3% under standard conditions and 1 mm resolution.
- 4–20 mA output plus RS485 digital output with Modbus or a custom protocol.
- LCD display of level or space distance.
- IP65 housing with built-in lightning protection for outdoor sites.
Applications
- Water and wastewater tanks
- Pump sumps and wet wells
- Pools and open basins
- Chemical and process storage tanks
- Level signals for SCADA and remote monitoring
How to choose
- Confirm the maximum distance from the sensor to the lowest level falls within the 15 m range.
- Keep the beam path clear of ladders, pipes and other vessel internals.
- Consider foam or heavy vapour, which can weaken the echo.
- Decide whether the 4–20 mA loop, the Modbus link or both will connect to your controller.
LKS can size the transmitter for your tank, mount it and set up the output to your panel, with calibration and support after installation. Get in touch for a quotation.
